theswallowtailsociety: Here’s a picture of some of my friends in Sendai Japan, back in the water to the north of the 3/11 earthquake-tsunami-nuclear meltdown.  These guys were working in a shop on the waterfront in Sendai and miraculously escaped in a car after the earthquake stopped. I’m so glad these guys survived and are still surfing in Japan!
